CERM openly takes the stand against false teachers
and doctrine. The Word of God says that those
that love the Lord will Hate Evil (Psa
97:10) and will also hate
every false way (Psa 119:104). I seek no
association with the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead by
this page am exposing it (Eph 5:11). CERM has been challenged and
attacked by many. The biggest attacks have been from Charismatics and
Word of Faith Charismatics. Some well known leaders in Christendom
have attacked CERM. From the
King James Version Only Movement
(Peter
Ruckman), from the
Emerging Church Movement (Dan
Kimball), and from the Word
of Faith/Third
Wave movements both (Randy
Clark) and (Bill
Johnson). CERM has also been repeatedly
attacked by some cults. From the OneNess
Pentecostal cult an apostate named
(Steve
Winter). Although many have come against
this ministry the Bible says that God promises his protection. "No
weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall
confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the
heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me,
declares the LORD" (Isa 54:17, ESV).
Besides the attacks many have been blessed by the ministry of
CERM. One individual wrote the following which very accurately
describes this ministry

False teachings- Denies the trinity, does not believe that Jesus
Christ is God, preaches a gospel of Hatred, and he teaches that
Baptism and Speaking in Tongues are required for salvation.
Also holds to the following doctrines
Jesus is God the Father.
Jesus is the Holy Spirit.
The name of God is "Jesus."
Denies pre-existence of the Word as the Son. Teaches that the He
existed as the Father.
Being born again means repentance, baptism, and speaking in
tongues.
Baptism must be administered by an ordained Oneness minister to be
valid.
Baptism must be administered with the phrase, "In the name of Jesus"
instead of the phrase, "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the
Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19).
Speaking in tongues is a necessary requirement to demonstrate that a
person has been baptized in the Holy Spirit, and is, therefore,
saved. It is claimed to be the initial sign of the infilling of the
Holy Ghost.
Restitution of all things, though the devil and the angels will not
be restored.
Women may be pastors. (Read 1 Cor 14, 1 Tim 2-3)
Only Oneness people will go to heaven.

teacher. Although I cannot say for certain that Johnson is unsaved,
what I can say is that the Word of faith movement is false, and
Johnson is in error for teaching some of the hellfire doctrines of
the movement. Johnson loves Benny Hinn, and Hinn is no question a
false teacher.

We do not know. There was a church in Murfreesboro, TN, but that has since dissolved. Other than that, we have not yet, as of this date, found another church that is in the truth (1 John 4:6), and we have been to many. Will we find one? Actually, the real question is, will Christ find one?

While I believe that these moderators are saved, its obvious that
they dislike Fundamental Bible believers and are confused on their
doctrines. Peter for example argued that OneNess Pentecostalism is
not a cult, and also claimed that I was not welcome at this forum.
However my reputation
points speaks otherwise. Peter also made
some other inappropriate statements to me. One of these statements is
as follows:
I really do wish you would practice separation and separate yourself right on out of here. That would make me happier than a cat licking milk off a hairbrush. But then what good would that do? You'd just continue on your way until you became twice the sons of hell these people you listen to are making you into....If you don't get this and still are hell bent on your ideology... do us a favor and separate from us. Go continue in your fundamental ways and like most folk in that movement... you will sit in your small church among other hateful people and complain about how it ought to be while all the while doing nothing much to change anything because you nor your church will have the power of God in you to bring any real change. Better yet.. you can start your own message board and website so you can give the heathens even more ammunition and reason to blaspheme the name of God. Read Romans 1 and then pay particular attention to chapter 2. It is speaking of folk just like what I am speaking about.
Amazzin made these remarks:
I am sorry to say that your kind has no hope, no future. You will die a slow intelligent death with your seperationist teaching. And that's supposed to scare me you vendictive evil person you! What spirit is that you have just allowed out? You need to be delievered of that demon John.
Then a few days later said the following
You and I will never see eye to eye. I am a pentecostal minister of the gospel. A pastor for more years than you have lived. A Minister in excellent standing with my association and I pastor at the largest pentecostal church in Canada. A church over 5000.... Thank you for your time here but your teachings are dangerous. You call us a false teacher but you fail to see the plank in your eye. The issues we raise are non-essentials but you makes them essential for salvation. That's really unloving of you.
I responded by asking Amazzin where did I ever say that secondary issues were required for salvation. He was unable to provide me with a post. These moderators dislike CERM and claim I am too dogmatic and such, yet they are very dogmatic of their defense of "tattoos." Tattoo's are not Biblical and Christians should not get one. Regardless I will remove this from this page if these moderators repent and seek reconciliation with me.
